July 3rd marks International Plastic Bag Free Day, part of the global Break Free From Plastic movement which sees thousands of people around the world taking action to raise awareness of the environmental impact and hazards of single-use plastic bags.
The International Plastic Bag Free Day is a unique opportunity to spread the word that a plastic bag free world is possible and that sound environmental alternatives to single-use plastic bags are available and sustainable.
To show our support and promote the importance of acknowledging and addressing both our personal and organisational environmental impact, we’ve chosen our Sustainability module as July’s Module of the Month.
Part of our Social & Corporate Responsibility range, the module explores the importance of sustainability and ways in which we can reduce our harmful impact on the environment to make a better world for future generations.
Considering the consequences of inaction, the importance of environmental awareness and the responsibility of individuals, businesses and governments to bring about change, the modules looks at the environmental, economic and social impact of sustainability.
